Pre-owned plastic model kit

The PT-76 is a Soviet light floating tank powered by hydrodynamic propellers in the water. The project was created in 1950, and a year later the tank entered service in the Red Army. Serial production continued until 1967. Its modernized version-Type 63 is manufactured in China. Its main task is the reconnaissance service in reconnaissance units of armored and mechanized divisions. The PT-76’s survivability on the battlefield is rather low, mainly due to the very thin armor. The drive is provided by the W-6 engine with a capacity of 263 HP. There was a lot of modernization of this vehicle. In 1959, the PT-76B entered service with a new D-56TS gun and larger fuel tanks. Relatively recently, the PT-76E version appeared in the Russian army, with the modernization of the 57 mm L / 76.6 S-60 automatic gun and the new 300HP UTD-20 engine. The PT-76 tank was widely exported to many countries, including to Poland, East Germany, China, Vietnam, Cuba or Egypt. Technical data: length (with a barrel): 7.63m, width: 3.14m, height: 2.2m, engine power: 240-300KM, range: 240-260km, maximum speed (on the road): 44km / h, weapons : 1 gun D-56T or D-56TM cal. 76.2 mm and 1 machine gun SGMT cal. 7.62 mm.
