The Ferrari 458 Italia is an Italian sports car designed by the Pininfarina design office. The car was first presented to the public on September 15, 2009 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Its serial production started in the same year and lasted until 2015.

The Ferrari 458 Italia was developed to replace the F430 model in the company’s lineup. Compared to its predecessor, the 458 model differs in two important elements: a redesign of the exterior and interior of the vehicle, as well as the use of a new engine with greater maximum power. Technologies and technical solutions known from Formula 1 cars were also used on a larger scale. In 2013, Ferrari presented the 458 Speciale model, in which the engine power was increased to 605 hp and the weight of the car was reduced. As a result, the Specjale version has better performance – especially acceleration. However, even the “standard” version of the Ferrari 458 Italia has great parameters: its top speed reaches 340 km / h, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h is only 3.5 seconds! The heart of the car is an 8-cylinder 570 HP engine. The 458 Italia model was replaced in the company’s offer by a Ferrari 488 GTB.
